Right - definitely something amiss.
Updated the software over the weekend - it's 1.0.2.00 or something. Set it to heat at 0540 for 20 mins. Got in the car at 0558 - stone cold.
Going for a service next weekend, but unfortunately they may not be able to reproduce the issue - I set it to come...
I've set it by the app and by the screen - by rights it should still be on when I get in (which is why i set it for 30 mins to allow for variation in leaving time).
I checked this morning by setting it to work in a couple of minutes - and it came on. So i wonder if the issue is mine only does...
Pretty sure I've updated the car's firmware - but it's in for service soon so they can check.
And yes, I've checked all sorts of different times - but not just the ten minute option.
I've had my PHEV for just over a year, and I'm not sure if my timed heating works or not!
I have it set to come on at 0530 on a Monday so it's warm when I leave for work at 6am. I used the app to set it for 30mins (it's plugged in). But it never seems to be warm - and on checking an old thread...
I bought a second cable off Amazon marketplace - £169 delivered. It's better than my nuworld one as both ends have a cover on, which I prefer as this is the one I'm going to leave outdoors.
Today I rode my bicycle about 40 miles west from our house through the Yorkshire Dales, where I met my lovely wife, my children and my PHEV. Which was when I realised I'd asked the dealer to put the wrong socket on my towbar for my bike rack. DOH!!
Drove back (after buying my mum lunch) with...
It can be done - used the radical and little-used technique of reading the manual, and there on page 7-61 it is. Turn it off using the button, then hold the button for 10+ seconds, when "LDW2" appears on the screen. The LDW will then be set to "off" when you start up, and you need to "opt in"...
Rang the leccy company to get my kWh cost and went to put it in the MMCS. The field to put it in with £ as the currency has three zeros and two decimal places - so I put 10.75 in - is this right, or have I just told it my leccy costs £10.75 per kWh?
I seem to have a problem with bluetooth and my iPhone 6 - calls seems ok, music's fine, but when I try to upload the phone book it drops the connection.
The other thing is I was expecting to be massively irritated by the beeps - bit having had a Volvo XC 60 before my LR, I don't think they're too bad. I've got in the habit of turning off LDW when I start up, but it doesn't seem to do much else.
Picked up my grey GX4hs on 1 March, then promptly went to South Africa for two days, so I've only actually had about three days in the car, all local driving - but a few first impressions:
The quiet is spooky - my kids find it hysterical, I love it.
Saving charge is addictive - I've come from...
