New owner since Friday - a few thoughts

LDW can be switched off, I read it on here some time ago! it drove me crackers too! haven't had it on since the first week I had the car back in January. If I remember rightly, get into drive, hold the button in for 10 seconds and it disengages. if that isn't quite right there is a post...

    Facelift GX4h - Phone connection

Have a look at the thread 'WiFi Kills Apps ', it's the best 79p I've spent and it cured any call drop outs!

    on a positive note!!!

..and if £1 of said leccy get's me about 25 miles that is still only the price of 1 litre of fuel!

    on a positive note!!!

The probable reason why most of us have bought a Phev (apart from the obvious BIK for company cars) is for fuel savings. I'm a predominantly short trip user and I filled up the car over 2 weeks ago, I've done 255 miles since and the fuel tank is still full!! not sure what mileage i'll have done...

Anyone else who wouldn't have a PHEV again?

I'd buy another one just for the preheat feature! Marvellous!!

    Have we bought a lemon?

After an overnight charge my car will read about 22 miles for EV, however, whether the heater fan is on or not, if I switch it on then switch it off again it reads 33 miles!!!!

    Smug PHEV driver

I agree, the preheat feature is by far the best thing about the Phev, activated while I'm in bed and by the time I get out there it's cleared and toastie, the instant rear demist is a bonus too! whatever you might think about the car in general this will keep me happy to drive it!!

    phone cutting in and out

    phone cutting in and out

Hi I picked up my Phev at the weekend and I have noticed that the phone cuts in and out in as much as it comes through the speaker and reverts back to the phone so that I can't hear it, several times during a call!!! the dealer says I should switch off the wifi on the phone (iphone6) while I am...

    Battery charge

Hello All, I'm waiting for my PHEV to arrive in a couple of weeks. My daily round trip to work is no more than 6 miles (so I'm obviously looking forward to not using any fuel!!) but my question is would it be right to arrive back home after my long and tiresome 3 mile commute and plug in every...
