I use the following method to avoid the ICE starting.
Turn off heater before I turn the car off. (I have also used the tip regarding defaulting the A/C to off).
If I am not sure if I turned the heater off at the end of the previous journey I fire up in Acc mode and turn the heater off if its on...
I had a suspicion that unless you had them fitted at source as per 4HS then they would not be the same
as the factory fitted ones and your experience seems to back this up.
Lets hope you get your issues sorted.
Yes I confirmed that holding the "Source" button down for a second or so turns the audio off (rather than switching between sources as it does with a short press) and another press resumes where you left off.
Shame that it turns everything off, rather than just pausing to allow you to scroll...
Ok scourded the manual and can't seem to identify the 'Mode' button.
There was a reference to changing the mode between repeat, shuffle etc but holding that button didn't silence things.
Which button are you referring to please.

Having successfully moved my Itunes stuff onto an SD card following the reading of other posts all is well, except......
When playing a tune from the SD card is there a way to stop or pause it, short of turning the audio off ?
It's not a big thing but it would be nice to halt what is playing...
Thanks for the feedback guys.
I agree that the camera can be a bit iffy with the wrong lighting and/or weather.
Still looking for more feedback from anyone who has had the dealer fit sensors prior to delivery.
I don't think they are integrated with the car the way the factory fitted items are...
I have a 2016 4H and decided I would make do with the camera, having only had a camera on my Prius.
A friend of mine really likes the car and is considering a 2016 4HS as he really wants front and rear sensors.
The dealer has suggested they could fit sensors to a 4H and save him money if he...
Regarding the duff catalystic converter I just noticed something in the Australian Technical Training manual that suggests that if the car tries to start the engine and there is insufficient fuel "this leads to a lot of oxygen in the catalyst which can damage the catalyst".
Having seen the car this morning with snow on I decided I probably need to look at pre heating !
Only had the car a few weeks and have not downloaded the IOS app yet.
Currently I do an overnight charge using economy 7 controlled by the car's on board timers.
As I don't have a regular start time...
I was aware of the previous suggestions about luminous paint so screened it with my hands whilst looking down at it, so was fairly sure it was a "light".
Didn't think to turn things off to see. Will do that next time I am out at nights.
