    All terrain tires

If you can find a lift kit for an Outlander, go for it! I did some quick searching and it looks like even finding a lift kit for any Outlander (gas powered too) is difficult. I thought that if you could find a site with a lift kit for sale, it would tell you what size of tires would fit after...

Mitsubishi hopes to sell 4000 Outlander PHEVs in USA in 2017

The North American launch of the Outlander plug-in hybrid is getting closer! Via AutoBlog, they say that Mitsubishi expects to sell around 4,000 units in the first year. Then, more recently, Don Swearingen, executive VP of Mitsubishi Motors North America said that their dealers are very...

Outlander PHEV becomes Europe's best selling plug-in vehicle

Interesting point... And now the Outlander PHEV has sold 428 units in Sweden, so 6000 for the first 6 months for all of Europe does seem low... http://insideevs.com/mitsubishi-outlander-phev-sales-surge-sweden-june/

Outlander PHEV (FEV?) headed to Ireland

Mitsubishi has announced the Outlander PHEV is headed to Ireland this summer, and will be priced from €41,950. In one of the prominent reviews from that area of the world, the 'Independent' refers to the plug-in hybrid as a 'FEV' (rather than calling it a p-h-e-v). So is this a common term...

    It's here

As much as it hurts me (yes, Mitsubishi has delayed the Outlander PHEV again in the US), congrats! Thanks for posting the pictures and sharing your experiences, I'm glad I can at least live vicariously through owners on the forum until the plug-in comes here!

    Extra driving light

Did you look in the fuse block, likely under the dash on the driver's side? There is usually an empty spot or two, where you can put in your own fuse and run a wire from there to your lights at the front.... I don't have my Outlander plug-in yet, so I can't help out :(

PHEV OUTLANDERS are available in New Zealand

Wow, although I am very jealous as I still need to wait a year plus in North America, congrats on getting your Outlander plug-in! How is it? What colors/options did you get? Do you have some pictures to share?

    Home Charging

There's a good comparison chart linked in the toolbar at the top of the site (compare ev chargers). It will help you find one with max output and price once you decide on what you want! http://www.myelectriccarforums.com/electric-vehicle-charger/

Outlander Sport plug-in hybrid planned for US?

Is that a redesigned Outlander, or is that a picture of the Outlander Sport? I thought they looked the same and it was just a performance package? A plug-in hybrid version of the Outlander Sport would be pretty cool... and likely to be totally sold out before the US release date, just like the...

    Real time consumption

Luckily you bought a plug-in hybrid and not just a plug-in  Is your commute of 15km flat ground, or downhill both ways? You might be just able to make it on EV power, but with gasoline for heat in cold temperatures.

    Understanding the three driving modes

This should be ontopic I think! The motor is quite quiet I agree from a test drive I have taken. Some day I will have my own Outlander PHEV but there are too many to wait for being ordered that Mitsubishi has told me to wait!

Acceleration and top speed tested an verified.

Thanks for sharing these numbers, it is fun to see what someone in real life gets when compared to what the real Mitsubishi numbers are for the Outlander plug-in hybrid.

    Outlander PHEV Snow Tire questions

170 what? Perhaps I am misunderstanding. Regardless, you are right, I don't want to have any warranty trouble. Thank you again!

    Outlander PHEV Snow Tire questions

Thank you for your responses. Yes, I would be using a tyre that ends up within a fraction of the same dimensions so that power/speed etc will not be changed by very much. Sounds similar to a truck to me, and there are lots of snowtyres for 16 inch truck rims that are highly qualified I think.
