The vehicle is capable of using the battery to power a homw. You need to buy the power cord for that purpose and have an outlet installed in your home.

I am not denying the laws of physics. If you read your post it makes no sense at all.

That is the button for the fuel door. I noticed when I pushed it it has a delay and on the dash it says getting ready to fill. It must be lowering the pressure at this point.

I would move the USB port out of the storage area. It is a pain if you have a thumb drive in the port. Build them with no 3rd row seat to increase storage area. They need a switch to keep them in electric mode as long as the battery has a charge.

Turning on the heat or A/C definitely changes your range. My 2019 would go from 45 kms to 38kms when the heat was turned on.

The vacuum amount is very low and does not effect the ability for the fuel pump to work properly.

All gas vehicles have a sealed fuel system to prevent unburnt fuel from getting into the air. The only air exchange allowed is when the tank gets cold and allows air into the tank.

I have a 2023 and there is no such button on the Canadian spec Outlander PHEV. There is a delay when you push the fuel door opening button and I suspect it may be because it is lowering the pressure in the tank.
