    Hard Wiring Dashcam

    I agree, its easy to pop out your glovebox and easy to ease wire behind the headlining. I wanted parking protection so used piggy-back connectors to connect to a switched Live and to a Permanent Live. Worked perfectly and easy to remove two years later at end of lease :-)

    Replacing the standard bulb with a LED is easy and makes a huge difference. It might be sufficient for your needs however i would like more light to the offside rear too so am looking to attach a separate reversing lamp to the towbar. bracket.... Possibly...

    It seems to me that the more vociferous owners/posters are those that have a PHEV for financial reasons. Yes, I was able to afford mine because of the the advantageous BIK but the green aspects are important to me i.e. not diesel, no emissions in town, no petrol on my commute and shopping...
