Would this work? Solar/wind to UPS, UPS to PHEV ?

Why is that, HHL? I dont see any reason that wont work, if he gets a big enough UPS, say 2300w It would be able to charge the car, for a while. Most of the ones ive seen outputs clean sinus power. Charging the 12v internal batterys isnt a big deal. Efficient? Maybe not, but it would work IMO :)

Do brake lights activate during Regenerative Braking?

You are right, they do at higher levels atleast, not sure about the lower ones. Dont seem like it.

    Led light bar installation

Power can easily be taken from the fuse box, both high beams have separate fuses after the relay. SO they are powered only when high beams are active. I used one of these to get a signal for my external relay https://crimpsupply.com/circuit-protection/add-a-fuse-micro-atr-fuse-tap.html Bracket...

    LED High Beam conversion

I`ve replaced the halogens with LEDs for high beams, works like a charm. Be sure you get good ones, that are not too thick as it will change the pattern. I`ve got these and can recommend them...

Outlander makes noise while off and charging

You can see this when opening the hood, the reservoir sits right up front, and the water/coolant will move when the pump is active :)

Post a photo of your hitch, there are many different types.

    How to charge PHEV quickly?

Not true, in the Nordics we have 230V supply, charging still takes around 7 hours limited by onboard charger. The cable is only a controller. For fast charging - CHAdeMO is required (20/50kW DC), and getting that at home sounds really expensive :p

    LED dipped beam level

Same issue on my 2018 with LEDs, they are just set too high. Not like any other car i`ve had or got now. Others cars keeps flashing me, unless im going downhill or very flat road. Just the smallest climb and everyone gets blinded - and yes they are VERY bright. Was like this from factory...

Anyone with nudge bar or bull bar and auxiliary lights?

The stock high beams are totally useless IMO, driving lights are perfect though (LEDs) So i`ve mounted 2 Rigid Dually`s on a standard licence plate bracket. They also do not interfer with the front parking sensors.

2013 PHEV No Thule roof bars will fit, says shop

For flush rails you will need the Thule 4030 mounting kit. I`ve got those on my 2018 with Wingbar Edge bars https://www.thule.com/nb-no/no/roof-rack/car-racks/thule-wingbar-edge-9595-_-959500

2018 PHEV Extreme Floor Pan Heat

I`ve noticed this also during longer trips. I guess its heat from the battery pack. Not very smart during summer, in winter i guess it will be just fine for the person sitting behind me :) My car was brand new from dealer May.28 this year.
