I have carried a spare in the boot for two years. Steel wheel but exactly same diameter/rolling radius as the standard wheels. Peace of mind for long journeys and I don't miss the boot space. Those with greater space needs may find it inconvenient.

No it has an electric heater. See the discussion on Pure EV and also the discussion on stopping ICE for heating. They are focussed on making the car's characteristics more user friendly for those owners that would like less ICE when the battery has sufficient capacity to be used (I am one of those).

Unfortunately with the length of cable available at these particular chargers it is not possible to plug in a PHEV when that space is occupied. Leaf yes, PHEV - no.

UPDATE According to some other EV owners in the areas, this car is apparently well known for being left regularly all day in EV Charging bays, blocking access to the charger. Any suggestions (legal only)!!

Three different connectors of which the only suitable one was plugged into the PHEV. Also - the cables are fairly short and you have to be parked in that bay to connect easily.
