    Mechanical problem

Have just had a similar "coincidence" resolution. The day after phoning and registering a complaint with Mitsubishi UK the part unexpected arrived at the dealers that morning. Like you I just put this down to a fluke but maybe it does pay to complain rather than leave it with the dealer! Car...

    Mechanical problem

Update on my issue: Sorry rgilyead for updating this rather than starting afresh but though it best to keep this all in the one place. Third replacement part which was due in on Friday is now missing in action and they have now stated it will be the 18th July before a new part will arrive from...

    Mechanical problem

rgilyead, if it's anything like mine the first delivery will be the wrong part, the second delivery will be the correct part but missing a seal and the third delivery will supposedly arrive a month after the problem was discovered! not happy at all at the moment but hope you have a different...

    Mechanical problem

A new part under guarantee would be nice but given that they have taken 3 weeks to get what is effectivly an oil seal from Japan I don't hold out much hope! Garage has now told me that the part they ordered has come in but they have been sent the wrong part. Now have to wait another 14 days...

    Mechanical problem

For the collar I think it's just the type of metal used. More concerned about the rust on the arm that goes to the wheel. (the black part)

    Mechanical problem

Well 14 days in and dealer still has no idea when parts will arrive! Off to France in 3 weeks and will not be going in the mirage that they have given us as a courtesy car!

    Mechanical problem

Funny you should mention this! Was just coming on to highlight my similar experiance. Noticed a lot of spots of oil on the drive the other week and had it up on the ramps to have a look. Spotted some oil coming from between a metal collar (rusty bit in the pics) and what looks like the rear...

    footwell lights

Hmm, interesting. Have had a look for the fitting instructions as I fancy trying to fit this kit myself but no joy. Would it be a big ask for someone to post a copy of the instructions before I decide if I want to buy the kit? Might try and see if the dealer will let me see a copy also.

    footwell lights

Anyone know where these plug into? Have had a number of cars where the wiring is already in place on lesser models that don't come with footwell lighting in their spec. Just a case of drop a bulb in and there you have it. Presuming it's not as simple on the PHEV but interested to know if the...

Haha, great pic guys! Looking forward to joining you in there but won't be very often as the car will mainly be used for the wife's work rather than mine :-)

    Dash Cam fitting -easy!

Interesting, have been looking for one of these for a while. Take it switches on and off automatically in the phev? The socket in my current soon to be replaced ford cmax manages to stay on all the time so would have to have removed it every time I parked!

Has anyone ogt a podpoint card also? Seem to be a few locations in Glasgow and may be handy but is this different to Chargemaster? £12 member fee before you get a card to keen to check it out first.

    British Gas Charging Point -

I filled in an online form about 2 weeks ago the day before the website started showing a charge. No response since until I called them yesterday. Appointment booked there and then for another 2 weeks time and said I could upgrade to the 30 amp charger for £99 so still getting the base unit...
