When we use satnav and we are on a motorway, our satnav is constantly updating us where we can eat, or refuel the car. This only happens on motorways. How can I switch it off? Our Shoguns never had this issue.

I've tried every setting that would seem to be applicable, but with no success.

Help me please.

Not sure what you mean by this - is it making announcements of some kind? If I am on the motorway, the nav screen switches to a split display with the next few exits displayed in a column down the left side of the screen - it does annotate each exit with facilities you can find there including fuel, food and hotels - I don't think you can turn that off, but it seems to be a very useful feature with no down-side - do you think otherwise?

This is one feature of the MMCS navigation that is better than I had previously in the BMW; very useful for planning motorway stops when the various family members need food/drink/toilet breaks!

To switch off:

Hit NAVI MENU button
Choose SCREEN
SCROLL DOWN TO "Motorway Simplified Map Autoatic Display" and disabled.

In the Dutch user guide (hint, hint ;) ) it is on page 204.
