Not now, I'm afraid. If you had asked a couple of weeks ago, we could have suggested either "Don't lose it", or "Get an insurance policy that includes key insurance"!

Actually, have you checked that your insurance does not cover you? It was only when I had a minor accident and read my policy from AA Insurance that I noticed that they included key insurance as standard - read your policy booklet!

Sounds pretty normal price for car keys these days. My sister in laws Alfa key was more than that.

Agreed - I was quoted £250 for a spare for my son from Toyota several years ago (more than the value of the car :lol: ) However, at the time, some Googling brought up firms who will make up clones for about £100 but I didn't follow up at the time.
