Swapping to multimedia system

Hi. I have just bought an outlander PHEV, 2015 model which has the basic radio system. The question I'm asking is, if I change it for a used multimedia system that came from a PHEV, will all the energy flow data be present, or would i need to do some CAN wiring etc. Also, are there any aftermarket units that would give you all the energy flow data? Thanks
