I had a 15 amp socket installed
We also had it connected to off peak power also, the power is available for 18 hrs a day.
It works well with us as the PHEV is out most days
Enjoy the sound of quiet motoring
PS I am in Port Douglas Qld
I cannot comment on the heater as living in Port Douglas Qld, Aus, we get a min of 15 deg C & at the moment the temp varies between 25 deg C & 36 deg C
On the regen braking, I use a lot of between B3 & B5 for control of speed going downhill.
I have found that the A/C used a lot more...
Hi,
Just to let the community know how we are going.
In 1346kms the PHEV used 301 kW of electricity & 8 lts petrol.
Most of the travelling has been in 30+ temps so the AC has been working hard.
The PHEV is usually charged of a night on off peak power
Thanks
I have taken mine up the Bloomfield track. This is between Cape Tribulation & Wujul
We did have some feedback in the steering however no more than expected.
Here is a youtube video that someone has taken in the past to give you an idea.
A couple of the climbs approach 18%...
I had mine delivered with Roof Racks, & they whistled- we collected the car on a Saturday & there was no one in the workshop. When the racks (Genuine) were fitted, they had forgotten to install a rubber strip on the under side
We love our PHEV

There is about 50m of rise & fall, so relatively flat
20kms is at 95kph the rest is at 50kph with standard country stop start.
There is 6 kms to go when I get home
