    Information on Service Plan

Mine was 14months old when I got it, I enquired at the Mitsubishi main dealer about the service plan and was told it was for new vehicles only.

Considering the Outlander PHEV anyone got one?

The timer for charging has a setting for a set time to full, so I don't immagine that there is any restriction. Mine is always charged at night for the cheap rate leccy. I set it to start charging at 10 past midnight until full.

Considering the Outlander PHEV anyone got one?

There is no way anyone on this forum would have one, we all know that only a dipstick would buy one.

new 2.4 PHEV Towing a caravan

I have found that there is no point in faffing around with odd settings, just get in and drive. I have a 1490kg caravan and have towed a few times, on local roads I get about 23pmg and on motorways, where I can set a steady speed with the HGV's she does about 27mpg. I get into the car, press the...

    UK Over 70's

Don't see what your problem is, get in the car and drive it, just don't take a half dozen grandchildren with you. My wife and I are both over 70 and on Thurs ( 19th May) we will hook up the caravan and go to Sandringham for the week.

    Trickle charger nor working

I always charge mine at night with the timer so it is always set, but I have to turn off the ignition, get out of the car and close the door, open the charge hatch and plug in the cable then turn on the electric at the 13amp socket. Look through the window at the charge dial and check that the...

    New owner, home charging

I use the 13amp socket just inside the garage door. The cable from the granny charger runs under the garage door so no one can nick anything. Set the timer in the car to charge from 'Midnight to Full'. Bobs your uncle.

    Not charging on timer.

I have just discovered that if you set the timer and plug in the charge cable, then for some reason unplug the cable then connect it again the timer will not work. You need to start the setup again, when reconnecting, get in the car and press the power switch on then press to turn the car off...

    Gas Use

I've had mine for just over a month now and done around 750 miles. Most of the journeys are short ones, 5 miles or so with two a week of 27 miles. I have put 37Ltrs in the tank. The only thing I do is put it into B mode and usualy leave it on B3, let the car do it's own thing.

    Not charging on timer.

17.15P per Kwh, day rate. 11.17P per Kwh Night rate. About 60p per charge, not much, but multiply by 365 and it's worth saving.

    Not charging on timer.

I am sure that I am missing something obvious. I've had the car, MY19 4H 68reg with 1400 on the clock, for a month now and had no trouble charging at night. The timer is set for 12.10 am to full, daily charge, to take advantage of night rate leccy, until the last couple of days there has been no...
