    EV wars...

Fact is, its first come first served regardless as its a public service. A Phev driver may only be doing 20 miles and wants to do the route on pure EV so is no different to a pure EV car. Yes they have the petrol option, but why should they have to use it, they may want to be as green as a...

    Beware Autumn Leaves!

Token payment or not, i would of not been impressed to be invoiced for a design fault. What happens if the fan had overheated and burnt out? I would expect the dealer to pay but going by them having to charge you for been proactive it would suggest it would be your fault to pick up the bill...

    Mains operated tyre inflator

I have one of these. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-accessories-products/emergency-and-breakdown/booster-pack/?551777649&0&cc5_824 The compressor runs off the units inbuilt battery. Its ideal for charging phones in the boot, camping and also jump starting too!

Is a PHEV the "right" choice to tow a caravan ?

I saw one towing a caravan at the weekend trundling alone at around 50mph on the M1. Whats the max mileage anyone got from a full tank of fuel and EV while towing ?

Does it has auto lock when you drive?

Thats just rubbish.... The doors normally auto unlock in the event of airbag deployment. Theres nothing different from a driver locking the doors than auto. Can someone share the documentation which details this as theres many new cars which auto lock.

I see around upto 2 or 3 per day in West Yorkshire on the commute - ok, they tend to be the same cars daily going in the other direction but theres plenty around

    Potholes

Think of it like this... Car is designed for higher ground clearance and 4x4 for crawling not high impact damage same as any car. So, avoid pot holes like you would in any car. :D
