Pure Electric Vehicle Mod - Hack. Stop ICE (engine) kick-in (heating acceleration & cold).

I basically understand the wiring diagram... But what is the purpose of the RF switch? And what is the purpose of the remote control? Did you run the rocket switch to your dashboard?

Return to EV mode after gas engine starts

    Evse.... 240 volts?

Thanks for the help so far.

    Evse.... 240 volts?

Using the right adapter (from 120 volt to 240), will this charger work on 240 volts? Or will it burn up? I know a lot of 120 volt chargers will work in this fashion.

Was ICE cold weather start formula reprogrammed?

I've tried these measures. It doesn't work. It may seem to delay ICE startup for 30 seconds longer, but it starts up anyway. I notice it now more than when my 2020 was new. Anything below about 52F and the engine likely will trigger. Tried pre-heating, no cabin heat, etc. I think if...

    Windows won't open

Yup. That was it. I'm such a dummy. Thanks.

    Windows won't open

My 2020, none of the windows will operate except the driver's. Started on the very cold weather but could be coincidence. Where should I start?

    Cold weather temperature spoof

Seems terrific, but a bit pricey... And who knows if it will work on a North American 2020?

Thank you for that helpful information.

    Cold weather temperature spoof

Nice. Are you willing to share the wiring diagram? Or some pics?

    Cold weather temperature spoof

I have a 2020. I'm noticing more and more that my ice comes on when temperatures drop to 50F or below in cooler weather, even when I have a full charge. I drive a lot of short trips. Two to three miles. My ice doesn't even turn off by the time I get to my destination. I drive slowly. I'm...

WiFi reset procedure (Step by Step)

Hooray! This worked for me. I've been trying to fix this problem for a year... where I could not register my new phone. The dealer spent over an hour one day trying to fix it. I don't think they had a clue that I might of had two phones registered (mine and my wife's). I explained that I...

    Bluetooth and Android auto

I know my thread is old, and I have been wrestling with this problem, on and off, of not getting audio from my phone for things like Waze, when I have my phone connected by wire to the head unit. The issue is... which I have "fixed" is that like a cell phone, there are different volume levels...

Phone app won't connect to car

Hi. Sorry for not getting back to all of you who were nice enough to respond. Is there a specific place on the center console screen where you delete a phone?

Phone app won't connect to car

My phone had a complete factory reset. The Mitsubishi app was added again, but it will not connect to the car.

Phone app won't connect to car

I have a 2020 Outlander phev, USA. The app is pretty miserable but it used to work for me. I tried searching the forum but couldn't find a topic related to mine. I had trouble with my phone and had to reset it. Since then I have not been able to reconnect my car to my phone. I followed all...

    Oil life?

I have a 2020 model. Bought it new in US. I'm wondering if I should adjust my oil change interval based on how much EV vs ICE driving I do. Is there a way to determine this ratio? (Aware that making changes might jeopardize warranty)

    Battery Charge/Save Buttons

So i have a question on this... If you are on a long highway trip, and you want to be prepared with some EV range for stop and go traffic at the end, and you cannot plug in except at the end, is it better to run the battery down and recharge with the Charge button? Or is it better to use Save...

    Best economy for motorway drive

Agreed that there is probably no clear winner when you are taking long trips. In my case, I like to keep the battery at least half charged or so because I never know when I am going to hit bad traffic... and of course, I try to reach home with an empty battery.

    Advice for a long drive

So... the data from the scanguage does indicate that power to the drivewheels goes up slowly and steadily as the battery approaches full charge. Your foot on the accelerator is much more a factor for sudden changes.
