    Thoughts after 3 mths use.

You probably know this, but on my older, 2014, version, you have to press the boot lift button twice quickly, to get it to operate, after it's unlocked. I don't know if the newer model is the same.

    Deleting devices from car wifi

Thanks jdsx & STS134, finally managed to sort it. Now my phone wants to 'update' the software, is this something I should allow or will it muck the whole lot up again? :?

    Deleting devices from car wifi

Is there a way to delete all registered devices from the cars wi-fi? I've been messing around trying to register a new phone, but I already have 2 registered, so it won't let me. Neither of the original 2 work, so how to delete when they won't connect. Is there a 'master' setting on the car...

Who can help me with charging timer settings

I am having a similar problem with mine. It has been working fine for the last 3 years, but this last month it's decided it's always going to charge regardless of how the timer is set. I've tried various combinations of charge off/on, timer off/on, but nothing seems to work. We have 'economy...

    Fill ups

The way it's always worked with mine, before the mod., was to run the engine after 3 months, until I put in 20l of fuel. Then it was OK until the next 3 months. Sometime I had to run the engine just to use up enough petrol so I could get 20l in! Tried putting 18l in once but that didn't stop...

    Fill ups

Since the mod. that I had done on the last service in Sept my Outlander is not running the engine to use the fuel after 3months. I filled it in the beginning of Sept '17 and was surprised when it didn't start running the engine in Dec, demanding to be filled. I'd had a very economical few...

Yes, I got one this morning as well.

    East Anglia - England

I'm just south of Cambridge. It's now become a game to spot the 'PHEV's' when we go out. There are more & more getting about, not often that we don't see at least 2.

    Wifi again!

Hi jaapv, thanks. The dealer seemed to think that once cleared it wouldn't let me start from scratch! This is why I wondered if any one had actually done this and got it to work.

    Wifi again!

Thanks westdevon. I'm trying to avoid a total de-registration. The old phone doesn't work so I can't use the remove vin on it. I just wondered if anyone had a 'get round' it.

    Wifi again!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find it. I used to have a tablet & phone linked to the wifi in the car, for preheating/cooling. The tablet still works fine but my old phone is now defunct. I have a new Android 6 phone and can't get it to link, as it still thinks there are 2...

    Frozen wing mirror

After a couple of alarming creaks & cracks, last year, I set mine to 'off'. Now am in the habit of pressing the little button on the door to close/open them as I want, usually in carparks & road sides. I don't bother at home, as I have plenty of space all round and that's the place it's most...

    Slightly Updated 2017 Model

This one looks good, I wonder if it'll ever get built. http://insideevs.com/mitsubishi-gt-phev-concept-25-kwh-battery-3-electric-motors/ Twice the range!

    Charge rage

Hope this isn't what we have to look forward to happening more often. We seem to get all the rubbish ideas from US :(...

    wifi issues

Hi brunkaren, I had the same problem & ended up back at the dealers. He turned the hazard lamps on as well, even though it doesn't tell you to do this. Apparently you need to have something else on as well. Hope this helps.

    New Car - New Me!

I wouldn't be in a hurry to fill up, if you don't use much fuel. I filled up when I 1st. got mine, and ended up with the car running on engine only until I put in 20l of fuel! As it was 3/4 full at the time I couldn't get 20l in for over 2 weeks. It does this every 6 months or so if fuel...

    Engine running

Thanks jdsx. Have had a look at those threads. I usually fill up with 23l at a time (about 5galls) rather than filling completely, as to not be carrying a full tank when not necessary. It's a pity it didn't hold off for a couple of weeks as going to NEC and would have filled it before then anyway.

    Engine running

I know this must have been discussed before, but I can't find any threads. My Phev decided to run the engine yesterday, in it's maintenance mode with a ! in an orange triangle on the display. It's just about 6 months old. I've been using it all winter and as it's been cold have run at least...

    charging schemes uk

I have a few cards, but have only ever used the rapid Ecotricity ones at Cambridge services, (charge to 80% in about 20mins, just enough time to get a coffee!) I wouldn't pay for any cards, now I realise I don't use the ones I have paid for! Unless you don't mind hanging around I can't see the...

    The cost of home charging

Hi Kaboom and welcome. I usually find it takes about 12Kw to fully charge from empty, so I just multiply by my night or day rate 'lecci cost. (.84p or £1.80 totals) Unless the sun's out then I can charge for 'free'!
