At yearly inspection upgraded MM firmware and connection works fine now.

PHEV manual says it uses v.2.0+EDR Bluetooth. I was using until now Galaxy S Advanced with v.3.0 Bluetooth without problems, now changed to Galaxy A3 with v.4.0 and no connection at all. Description of Bluetooth says 4.0 is downwards compatible to 3.0, but not 2.0. Any chance for a go-around...

I keep mine connected all the time, since 1,5 year. Disconnected only, when I take the cable with me on a trip, where I can expect available charging position. Never a problem.
