Maddog I think what you are getting on your PHEV is brill. However, as you've said previously you are recharging very regularly. My concern if I was recharging as frequently as you would be how quickly the battery would wear out.

having checked it again tonight it seems right. About 90p a day or thereabout to charge (add the extra .25 of a penny that it won't calculate and it'll be about £1.10 per day or thereabouts).

So if I am paying 14.25 pence per kwh for electric, on the screen on the PHEV where it asks for the KW cost to charge, am I right in putting in £0.14 i.e. is it asking for the price per kwh? If not, how would I work out or where would I find the price per kw?

That's exactly the way I feel. I used to drive an automatic and hated the thought of going back to the same. Paddling has sorted that out. The only thing I would say is that I hate the paddles location by the steering wheel. If I was to redesign this car I would definitely have no paddles...
