This has been concerning me since we bought the car last December.

My concern was that we would appear to be "fake brakes" if the lights came on every time the ACC went into re-gen to maintain the distance.

Well today I got my lad to follow me down the freeway with ACC activated.

I'm please to say that the brake lights do not come on until you get to a braking force over B3. I noted the speed and needle position as he said lights and then replicated it using the paddles, it is actually quite a speed reduction when the lights do come on.

Cheers all

Glad to see you are happy. But, be aware speed is also a factor. Regen power in B2 at 140 km/h may be much more than regen power in B4 at 20 km/h. The amount of regen should be roughly the rate of decelleration times speed, if I am not mistaken.
