Apple Carplay

I know that Apple Carplay is going to be available on 2016 Pajero. However, I am sure a lot of you have seen on YouTube the video of Carplay on the Outlander. It was also shown working at the Frankfurt motor show recently.

So my question does anyone know when Mitsubishi are going to release a software update to the Outlander to support Apple Carplay. It would be such an improvement over the current phone software which is not very user friendly. I would be prepared to pay for the upgrade if it were to be priced competitively.

I would go with precisely zero chance of that happening on the existing hardware as an upgrade.

Who ever designed MMCS couldn't even get the basics right let alone implementing something as complex as carplay or android auto (not everyone has an apple device!)

You can easily replace the MMCS by a Pioneer system with Airplay.
