Hi all,

I haven't been here for a while, it was a couple of years ago when I replaced the mmcs with an after market Android head unit.

I was wanting to remove the centre console on my 2015 Outlander to gain access to the handbrake cable adjustment nut. Can anyone advise how I should go about removing it?

Cheers.

Hiya,

There's a couple of youtube videos showing the steps.

In a nutshell, remove the screws and plastic pins from either side under the dashboard, then gently pop off the two side panels at that end.

Undo the four screws inside of the base of the console box at the other end (near the back seat).

Pop the console box off by pulling slightly up and towards the back seat.

That should expose the other fasteners.

If in doubt, apply gentle pressure with your fingertips, and things pop apart.

Have a look at the youtube videos first and you'll get the idea.

Many thanks, I'll give it a go in the next couple of days, I did try YouTube but couldn't find any for similar car to mine.
