Evse.... 240 volts?

Using the right adapter (from 120 volt to 240), will this charger work on 240 volts? Or will it burn up? I know a lot of 120 volt chargers will work in this fashion.

Mine (UK based) says 240v so perhaps they are voltage specific?

I would not attempt this, there is a good chance it will destroy your charger and possibly your socket, too.
Get a 16A portable charger, they usually work from 110 to 240V, e.g. this one:

You can then add an adapter for whatever 240V socket you have.
More than 16A is overkill, the car can only take 16A max.

Ooops, wrong Amazon item - they changed the specs since I purchased my charger. It's now a Lvel 1(only) EVSE.

There are many devices - laptop power bricks for instance - that work on 120V and 240V.

But as your charger isn't marked 120V-240V I wouldn't chance it.

Look on eBay USA for a used one that is 240V compliant.
