Free parking for Leeds Residents

I thought I'd post this after being inspired by another thread on here.

If you drive a PHEV/EV and have a Leeds postcode you can apply for an Ultra low emissions vehicle permit. This means you can then park in any council car park or on-street meter parking in Leeds for free. The permit is valid until March 2020 and it is also free.

I sent them an image of my V5 showing address and number plate via the website.

Apparently air pollution in Leeds is pretty bad so they are obviously getting desperate!!

We have an 'LS' postcode but live some 15 miles out past the A1. It's a shame but I don't think we'll qualify...

ThudnBlundr, do you pay Council tax to Leeds or another local authority? I suspect they probably do have a list of authorized postcodes but you never know.

It is very quick and free to apply online, they can only say no!!
