GX3h stereo "tip" for better sound

I strongly suggest you immediately go in to the controls (right hand big knob) and turn the "SWC" to off. I think this is their version of road noise auto volume adjustment. I started, as with all audio/video in my life, using the defaults to see if I would adjust to it. I hated the sound, my 11 old Mondeo was so much better. After a week I turned the SWC to off and voila! the sound system is actually tolerably. Still not the same as the Mondeo Ghia X (I think) standard but so much better.

I tend to leave tone (bass/treble) at zero unless the recording requires adjusting.

I've increased the bass and treble and biased the fader towards the rear. I find that much better.
