Rear light units from China

I cracked my rear light unit against a branch reversing. I did not even inquire about the price from my dealer, but just got one from AliExpress. It looks like it was made in the same factory. The only difference I could tell is that the LEDs emit a slightly deeper shade of red. Fitting was unproblematic, I did have to open up the slot in the plastic on the front fixing point. Cost: 55$ plus P&P.

When P&P is $44, that bumps up the price a bit!

Car breakers list secondhand parts on eBay in the UK. Maybe that would have been cheaper, though a quick search didn't turn up much here
