Tesla's answer to off-grid home charging

Is this the answer to solving the charging problem.

With this back up battery perhaps it may work, although I would need a wind turbine feed to cover the non summer months.

Ive not got solar panels as I don't like the look of them and have often wondered why no one has come up with solar tiles. Now they have (and I'm sure other companies will follow suit), I'll soon be wondering why the government doesn't mandate new houses to have them).
