It has just occurred to me that after fitting my side steps, jacking the car has become very difficult due to the steps covering the usual jacking points.

Is there a good place to get a 3 ton trolley jack under there to do maintenance? I am a bit concerned about doing damage to batteries and other gubbins.

Didn't see exactly where placed but when I had the winter tyres fitted, the tyre shop just popped the jacks (front & rear, one side at a time) under the suspension struts as with any other car.
