I am quite used to the Tunkety tunk noise my Outlander makes, when I plug it in, while it is connecting to the charger. However, today I am pretty sure I heard the same sound, even though the car was not plugged in (it had finished charging an hour or more ago and I had unplugged it). Also, the car was locked and not running - obviously!
Has anyone else ever heard their car make this sound, in this way and is it a cause for concern?

2pm by any chance?

At that time the DC-DC will connect to charge the Aux battery (if WiFi module active).

Usually followed closely by very quiet beeping.

BTW. I was expecting a limerick...

Tunkety-tunk,
I got junk in my trunk...

I’ve no idea what the time was, but thanks for the reassurance that it might have been something trivial.

Didn’t notice the beeping, but can’t be sure. As for the limerick, I’m afraid that is beyond the level of my creativity :)
