This is a video of the entire Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV front panel, the video is in Japanese but everything is self-explanatory so you don't really need translation.

I like the tochscreen but I don't really see anything new and better on this model then the rest of the EV, actually it's kinda bad compared to others. But I'm sure that this is not the finished product so we are just gonna have to wait a little bit more.

It's pretty loud for a PHEV, is it the ICE or is it just the engine?

All in all the Mitsubishi Outlander seems like a real decent car by all accounts, especially if they can fix the little chinks in the armor that are always there in the prototypes and first models.

I think it is the ICE but according to some info it is possible that it's only a prototype problem(as you mentioned), and it should be taken care of for the European and North American model.Lets hope so because the sound is too mich for a EV even though it is a PHEV.
