Hey everyone,
I have a 2015 phev (Japan import) and not sure if I have a rockford fosgate or wifi module installed. The headunit is not the default option but an oem clarion unit. Mz608983.

How can I tell if I have a wifi module or rockford fosgate system installed?

If you have wifi running, you should be able to see it announcing itself to the world.

Try this:

1. Turn on the car
2. Use your phone or other wifi device to 'search for wifi'
3. Look for a connection point that self-identifies as SSID 'REMOTEnnnnnnn' where the 'n' represents a number.

My instinct is that it is unlikely that you'll have the REMOTE module, that provides the wifi connectivity, without also having the original MMCS headunit in the dashboard.

I'm sorry but I don't have any information about Rockford Fosgate.

Edited to add:

Looking around here, I can see a suggestion that the RF system includes a label on the dashboard and an obvious sub-woofer in the boot.
