Who'd have thought - my previous Merc would have thrown an ABS or Electronic Stability error.

Put a similar new tyre on the other side, you are advised to replace tyres in pairs.
 
Yeh will do, the previous owner had stuck a part worn on the one I've replaced hence doing them one at a time instead of pairs.
 
Sounds like normal dealer's bullocks, 'cause they haven't got a clue :eek: Never had that in last 5 years having got through more tyres than hot dinners :lol: - with resulting swapping odd tyres back and forth.
 
I haven't got round to changing tyres yet as the tyre degradation is really low on the phev. But I have noticed that with the S-AWC screen on, the following is happening:

As soon as the EV warning comes up, the S-AWC seems to disable as no more bars show on the screen. Can anyone decipher what the S-AWC is showing? FYI the new tyre is on the front passengers side.
