I think you will find CarPlay rather useless; virtually none of your apps will work, not even the most important one, Waz. The built in navigator is practically unusable. Carplay makes you use Apples navigator which is better than the one that comes with the car but no where near good enough.

My 2015, Outlander PHEV has an EV only button. It took 10 minutes to wire it into the fuel pump fuse and made a great car, a brilliant car. It would be nice if MMC made a software upgrade available to current owners but why wait?
