    Tyres

Update, the Superia EcoBlue tyres I fitted look as good as new after 2000 miles, and the grip in wet and dry is absolutely fine.

    Tyres

Not the reviews I've seen. The load rating is 103XL and 850kg per tyre, much higher than the Toyos. They seem absolutely fine on the car, look decent and the ride is good. Wet grip is C rated. Noise rating is 69dB.

    Tyres

Just purchased 4 x Superia Eco Blue 4x4 SUV 225/55 R18 XL 103XL to replace the original TOYOs. The TOYOs have done 30,000 miles so have done pretty well, but they are vulnerable to nicks and tread damage it seems. The SUperia Eco Blues were £54 inc VAT each delivered! They have a better wet...

    Rotating Tyres front to back

Either way, problem solved/ discounted, thanks :)

    Rotating Tyres front to back

Perfect, thank you very much! So my rotated tyres will just register as a 'second' set, then I switch back next time I rotate :)

    Rotating Tyres front to back

Does anyone know if swapping front to rear wheels causes a hiccup in the pressure monitoring system? I had thought not, as the system does not specify a wheel or pressure when it gives a warning. However, my tyre place was unsure if it would cause the system to throw an error. Thanks!

16 MY PHEV ordering - current availability

I wouldn't order it. I would wait for better technology from other manufacturers in the next year or two. Unless you ONLY plan to do local drives of no more than around 50 miles per day and can charge at home every day.

Appalling. And not that surprising given Mitsubishi's quality issues.

    PHEV Power Issue

The car is pretty rubbish on long journeys under load. I would never recommend it to anyone wanting to tow and would certainly not lease another. I am stuck with mine for 5 years (three more). It averages about 65 mpg locally, but we travel to Austria a couple of times a year and also to...

Loss of drive power [merged topic]

Haha! Yes of course it was. All £40,000 pounds worth of it. You plonker.

Loss of drive power [merged topic]

Yes I have had the same problem three times. It is nonsense that you have 'knocked it ' into neutral, try it - cannot be done, you have to hold the lever over for several seconds. I still have my PHEV after 2 years as I have a five year lease (gx4hs). I would never touch mitsubishi again...

Error; reduced propulsion power / EV system maintenance rq

Fine with me. Continue denying the shortcomings of the car you decided to buy, like I did, indeed. But how does that help others make an informed choice? The Outlander PHEV is sold on the merits of two high powered electric motors as well as the petrol motor. Nobody informs potential buyers...

Error; reduced propulsion power / EV system maintenance rq

You cannot 'flip into neutral' on this car. In fact you have to hold the selector for several seconds to select neutral from drive whilst driving - try it. I do not find 85mph an uncomfortable speed or unreasonable speed to cruise at on autobahns. As I said, jumping to defend rather than...

Error; reduced propulsion power / EV system maintenance rq

Yes, we had exactly the same thing in February this year. No warnings at all, no 'reduced propulsion' message or 'turtle' mode message. The car just stopped delivering any power at all. Engine was not running, we were doing motorway speed on the A11 with no hard shoulder in rush hour and had...
