Yes that's right. The seats still move but the DG is fixed. To take them out you also have to use Allen key to remove one end. I haven't needed to do this but obviously you can only load to that height across the width of the car. Hope that makes sense. I got them with car and they were fitted...

Thanks StevieB I think it's a Clarion system, changed and removed from a couple of Kia Sorentos. I think I'd take it to a reputable car radio expert and pay for this. Red to red, black to black then leave it to the professionals. Mike
