Electricity supplier Iresa just went bust.

Hi Folks, I was just submitting my meter readings to Iresa (the cheapest supplier around, with the worst customer service ever) and discovered that they ceased trading 4 hours ago. Although their customer service was terrible I couldn't argue with their electricity pricing.. It was costing me...

    Real consumption

Just over 1 year's ownership, and just over 10,000 miles done... Averaged at 162.7mpg over the course of the year.

    Electric Tailgate not working?

Just another thank you PaulRB... Your post just saved me from a call to the dealer. Cheers!!

How much electricty have you used?

After 7 months of ownership and 5500 miles covered 1125KWh of charging+preheating at home (@9.82 pence per KWh) = £110.48 ~800Kwh of charging+preheating at work (Free) = £0 100.94 litres of petrol = £119.22 So total costs for 5500 miles comes in at £229.70 In my old 3-litre diesel 7-seater van...

    Battery charge

The guessometer bases it's guesses on your last 25 miles of driving... For me, that means that when I leave my house (at the top of a big hill) it guesses that I have 22 miles range, and when I arrive at work 18 miles later I still have 8-10 miles remaining.... On the way home (after recharging...

    Creaking Dashboard

No noise from my dash, but a bit of an annoying rattle from the roof lining for me if the sunroof cover is open.... Does anyone else have a rattly roof lining?

    Is it worth it?

I purchased my PHEV 5H nearly 6 months ago for all of the reasons you listed, replacing my old 7-seater deisel van (22mpg). I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever about this purchase. I cover around 200miles/week commuting to and from my client's site pretty much entirely on electric (charging...

    Completely new to Mistubishi

Personally, I love the heated steering wheel.. mainly because it warms up in about 20 seconds.. it's great when you come into the car from the cold outside and you're still waiting for the heating to warm everything else up.

    Towing Advice

PHEV has a total of 149KW (200HP) of output power available... 60KW (80HP) comes from the battery and the other 89KW (120HP) from the engine... If your battery is low, then output power is reduced down to 89KW (120HP) and you might struggle on steep hills... If you use 'charge' mode all the...

On verge of buying, but have reservations!!

I pre-heat for 20 mins before I leave for work and set off after it's been running for 18-19 mins (specifically, my pre-heat starts at 7:50 and I usually leave at 8:08). I found that 10 mins of pre-heating is enough to warm up the air in the cabin, but the plastics/seats are still cold, so the...

On verge of buying, but have reservations!!

Hi Cymrusue - It sounds like I have a similar commute to you. I'm 18 miles each way, downhill on the way to work and uphill on the way back. The main difference is that I can charge up at work too. I am going for weeks at a time without the engine ever firing up. The dashboard now tells me that...

    Highest MPG

I'm catching up with you jdsx - Fuelly reckons I'm at 162.4mpg currently, but it doesn't know about the last 400 miles I did... The lifetime average on the MMCS says somewhere over 175mpg now with 3400 miles on the clock so far. It's generally pretty unusual for me to see anything under 200mpg...

MMCS keeps going back to the start of the play list.

For future reference, it seems the MMCS doens't like USB sticks which have been formatted by Windows10 (using exFat filesystem). Reformatting the stick from a linux machine seems to have made the MMCS happy to use it once again.

MMCS keeps going back to the start of the play list.

Just a little update to this thread... I only had 3GB in total on the usb stick (a 128GB Samsung FIT thing), so I went with a reformat. Ever since then, I've been unable to get the MMCS to recognise the USB stick at all (though it still works fine in every PC I plug it into). I'll try some more...

What is the button to acknowledge the display warning?

That low washer fluid warning was driving me insane yesterday... It started 1 mile into my 18 mile journey home and beeped at me every 60 seconds for the first 10 minutes before it finally decided that I wasn't allowed to press the display change button anymore. It then stayed as a permanent...

MMCS keeps going back to the start of the play list.

Yeah.. it was after I removed some old podcasts and added some new stuff onto the stick that it started happening for me too. I'll try reformatting the stick and see if that helps. Thanks

MMCS keeps going back to the start of the play list.

The USB retains the position about 50% of the time... but I'll try an SD card instead and see if that improves things. Thanks Sumpy

MMCS keeps going back to the start of the play list.

Hi Folks - I've found that when playing mp3s from a USB stick, the MMCS seems to randomly go back to the start of the play list about 50% of the time when the car is powered on. It starts off playing the last track it was playing, but after about 5 seconds of playback it suddenly goes back to...

Is the 'S' bit worth it?

Personally I thought that the 's' was all things that I'd get annoyed by and went for the 'h' instead... I have not regretted my decision for a second.
