Welcome Murf, what area do live in. Don't forget most of the GMEV chargers are free, but you will need a cable.

I now have a pure Ev mode.

    Charge Cable

Has anyone purchased a type2 to type1 cable? and have you found a cheaper one then £135+Vat. I wasn't going to buy one but after getting a new job at Wigan Hospital I will be able to charge it there for free under the GMEV scheme so it will be worth it in the long run. Just need to find the...

    Ecotricity - not hugely reliable?

I've used them about 6 times and never had a problem except once I turned the ignition on to charge my sons Ipad and of course it shuts off if you do that so that was my own fault.

New owner - can I get some advice?

Add the service plan to your lease £10 per month for peace of mind and no big shocks when you take it in for service. I think you save about £200 doing the MSP so it is worth it I'm in 2 minds about spending £150 on another cable, but went to take my wife to hospital last week and the only...

    Yippee

Nice, best choice of colour in my unbiased opinion. :P I thought my reversing sensors were a bit faint so I purchased an add on unit for £30 that sits in your back window. Much louder and shows distance to obstacle and which side obstacle is on.

Mitsubishis(official?) formula for minimizing ICE when cold.

Me to. My Gx3 has so much condensation I have to use a towel as the aircon wont touch it. I don't know why they didn't use the aircon so you can run it as hot, it doesn't take that much, just a case of it changing which way it blows the hot and cold air when it seperates it. I think if the...

    Charging on the 'go'

I wasn't going to bother with a type 2 to type 1 cable as the pricing just wasn't worth it. I have used the Ecotricity fast charge points a few times and they are great. However last week I had to take my wife to Hospital for an appointment, we all know what a nightmare Hospital parking is like...

    Test Drive Tomorrow

Well done, now can you lobby your council to install a fast charger somewhere near the Caernarfon Junction of the A55 as I spend a lot of time around Anglesey and the Llynn Peninsular through Summer and my last fast charge point is at Ellesmere Port. :D

    Towbar - self fitting

Anyone wanting to fit their own towbar and save some money it is quite an easy task. I fitted mine on Sunday and it took about 2:30 mins. It would have been quicker but my ratchet packed in on my socket set, so I had to resort to using spanners which slowed things down. I purchased the towbar...

Best Removable Tow Bar & Dedicated Electrics Price

jkwilly I fitted the towbar on Sunday and all went smoothly, it took about 2:30 mins, it would have been quicker but the ratchet went on my socket set so I had to use spanners which was time consuming. No major problems, I would say if you have or can get some ramps it would make it much...

Best Removable Tow Bar & Dedicated Electrics Price

Ordered the towbar on Sunday and it was delivered yesterday, after looking at the dedicated electrics they are pretty straight forward to fit. Just waiting for a dry day to fit it.

Best Removable Tow Bar & Dedicated Electrics Price

Just ordered one so ill let you know how I get on. Electrics don't look to bad to fit I think the pictures make it look worse than it is. I've already had all the boot liners off to fit an extension unit to the reversing sensors and it only took about 5 mins to remove them.

Best Removable Tow Bar & Dedicated Electrics Price

Thanks for that. seems a good price. I fitted my last towbar on a brand new Chevy Captiva in a couple of hours, seemed daunting at first but was actually quite easy, so will give this a go as well, When you have fitted yours let me know of any pit falls or things to remember. Thanks.

    Delivery Checklist?

Check the bonnet, my last vehicle came with what they call a smile where someone had partially shut the bonnet then pushed it shut with their hand and left a small dent. I didn't notice till a week or so later and it was to late to do anything about it.
