12 battery size or model number

Does anyone know the actual size/model number of the 12 volt battery (2019 model if it matters) I am considering buying a backup unit.
Also, is anyone using a 12 volt battery tender to keep it charged up, particularly in situations where the car is not operated every day

When charging this battery you need to avoid going over 4.2 amps and no longer that 10 hours

It is a special battery, only available from MM dealers. Even Yuasa here in australia do not list it for retail sale.

Any substitute type may give off gas or leak through vent, and is not approved.

Here in Australia, we recentl had a recall to check what batteries are fitted. If an owner had a non approved one, the were offered a replacement to buy or to sign a disclaimer absolving MMAL of any risks

I can't imagine anybody is, because the car does this every day for you from the main battery - so long as the wifi is enabled. :idea:
