2018 LED Headlight disassembly

Has anyone tried to take the assembly apart?
The front glass is cracked on my LED assembly and the unit is priced over a $1000.
The halogen units are less than half the price. Thus wondering if I can just swap out the front glass?
It's for the right headlight assembly of a 2018 North American PHEV.

Are the halogen ones plain plastic too or are they ribbed for light scatter/direction as that'd make them less suitable.

I know on other cars warming in an oven at low temps lets you prise off the front 'lens' so you can fix/modify the innards, then clean up and with some new sealant, refit. Whether that'd work on one of these tho I don't know, an auto repairer might be able to advise after looking one over.
