Are you sure you don't have something like this under the car? The tongue and ball could be stowed somewhere in the car, and just a rubber cap over the square hole at the moment. Andy

They make all kinds of cable locks, hasp locks etc. Have a good rummage in the car, and check to see if you have anything vaguely lockish anywhere...

So now, all you have to do is find a matching lock, could be a cable, u-bar, or like a padlock. Andy
