You can certainly make it crab - I did so today. I used to see similar on the Landrover that we used to drive - throw it around a little too much and the back end can slip a few inches to one side or the other after which it is the devil's own job to get it straight again! Today, I drove a good half a mile down the high street pointing slightly left... Front wheel drive cars naturally pull themselves straight almost immediately.
