Beeping when locking car

Hi, I've noticed recently that my PHEV beeps a few times when locking the doors.
This seems to have happened since I inadvertently pressed something around the indicator the other week (when stationary), which also made a sound.

have I activated something, disabled something - or was this beeping there all the time and I hadn't noticed it?

Mine beeps when i try and lock it and the doors aren't closed.

The normal one is while waiting for the boot to close.

I always carry my spare key with me and occasionally forget to remove the bag it's in...muchos beeping!

I think also that if the position of the removed key is such that the signal is strong enough for the car to think the key is still inside you get the same result.

Obviously only applies to 'KESSY' models.

Beeps like beeping is going out of fashion if you get out with the car on!
