Car navigation MMCS not having all maps

I wonder why the Malta maps are not included in the Europe maps card. Can someone tell me from where I can download new maps and how to install them on my navigation system? Its really a pity that not all Europe is avaliable on the maps when they say Europe Maps. Please someone help as I am really lost

The system is based on Naviteq map data, maybe they are able to help. I don't think Mitsubishi will supply additional maps for a grey import car, but consult your dealer. The installation of map updates has to be done by an official PHEV dealer.

The installation of map updates can be done by anyone.
Just pay Navteq (here) £150 approx and install.

Well, that is twice the price I paid to Mitsubishi.(special offer) There have been reports of the Navteq updates not working. Have you done it this way?

I have sent to Navteq for this problem but so far no reply from them. Their maps update for Europe still don't include Malta
