Evening.
Just awaiting delivery ... I want to get a rubber cable protector to cover domestic charging cable over drive ... I have found one with 22mm diameter hole... Does someone know if this is the right size for that cable ... I can only go off photos and it looks about right. ...

I got this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FYRW5CK

The hole "snuggly" encloses the 5m cable from the supplied charge controller to the car across the pavement. It ever so slightly bulges but the weight of the rubber holds the whole thing down.

Welcome. I have now used this almost every weekend day (Sat & Sun) for > 4 hours per day and no problems - the rubber is fine with the conditions and with pedestrians and prams outside my house. People are busy looking at the plug in the back of the car :)

I use a very similar one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003QRJOVA

Cable fits just right into the slot and the rubber is flexible enough to fold in half for storage in the boot when not in use (although does get quite stiff at low temperatures)

Cheers

Neil
