Other cars keep flashing me, headlights too bright?

I have been using the second to highest headlight setting for city driving and I frequently get people flashing me at intersections where they think my brights are on. Anyone else have this problem? Am I using the wrong setting? The highest setting is much brighter and longer range.

Do you mean the thumb wheel that raises & lowers the dipped lights? I always have this set to the lowest, as I also have oncoming cars flashing me otherwise (especially in Europe). However, in urban areas I don't use the headlights at all, as dazzle from headlights is a real danger IMHO - if I feel I need to supplement the "near daylight" :lol: streetlighting. e.g. narrow side-streets, blind bends etc. I switch on the fog lights. :mrgreen:
