Outlander 2014 phev won't go into ready.

Long story short
I was going to work in tje morning and everything was fine.In the afternoon i was about to leave work and the ready light won't come on.At first i tought that the cobra immobiliser key fob was out of battery but that did not help.checked the 12v battery and it was low(8Volts)changed to a new a new battery with no help.Now i am suspecting if there could be something with the brakepedal switch or some fuse.Is the brakelights suposed to light up before the car goes into ready mode?
Any help or ideas would be highly apreciated.

Brake light comes on when applying the brake pedal and start button at starting up.
On a 2019 PHEV that is, don't know about earlier PHEV's.
