I was wondering if anyone knows what is behind the slots on the front grill? (the one just above the number plate) I have a pre-facelift GX4h (so no LDW or ACC etc.) I am wondering if any temperature sensors could be there. Also does anyone know how this grill is removed? I can see no screws visible so is it clipped on or is it screwed or bolted from the rear? i.e. bumper off :? I gave it a gentle tug but the amount of flex in the grill and surrounding bumper was quite alarming and made me stop for fear of breaking something

I have found some of the answer on fleabay looking at bumpers, which have a number of lugs on the bumper around the grill facing backwards, so it will be bumper off to access the lugs and whatever screws or bolts are holding the grill onto the rear face of the bumper.

dont know about sensor placement, but there isnt that much behind the grill, but some interesting stuff inside the front guards in front of the wheels.

though looking at the unplugged wire sitting on top of the bumper bar, that might be a temp sensor.. unsure yet, will need to confirm with the manual.
