I have been towing using the dealer fitted hitch with no problems, I am towing a caravan which weighs in at just under 1500KGs loaded with our kit.

That's interesting, I have the British Gas 32amp and no problems other than the car dead due to a faulty control module, see separate post in technical). Do have another thought on this having used Public charging points and some of these are capable at 32amps and switch according to the cars...

I was interested to come across this thread having just returned from France and having a UK car, not having to alter the HID lights being a GX4H and I did have to drive in the dark. Despite what the manuals states the French drivers on the other side of the road repeatedly flashed me to turn...

In UK, have a GX4H and been using a 32GB SDHC card mostly without problems but some tracks it seems to skip, not found out way yet, whether it is the tracks, card or car yet.

@maby I do the same and use the handbrake for one very good reason, it means my right foot is on the accelerator (gas) pedal and I can get off quicker!

Having just come of a ferry and switching off the alarm there is an option in Vehicle settings to switch off the theft alarm. I did this as easy to do and no one was going to drive off with the car whilst we where in transit. Once at the arrival port switched it back on again. Not as simple as...

OK, those that followed this thread or at least reading it for the first time will be pleased to know car is now working after 2 weeks. The problem was down to a faulty Control Module that was not even allowing the dealer to communicate with the car electronically. Once this was replaced...

A week + on and car still dead, a new control module to be fitted but this is on back order, awaiting date for delivery. Mitsubishi though have been great and sorted out a car whilst ours is being worked on.

I have towed quite a bit with my PHEV and the indicators sound and work no differently than driving without towing, so yes the dealer needs to look at it. Question, do you have a GX3 with parking sensors or a GX4 with a camera?

Word of warning, yesterday using Android app it prompted me to update the vehicle software otherwise some functions wouldn't work. Followed the instructions to update the software and at 99% it failed. Whilst annoying everything else seemed OK except the app no longer could connect as no WiFi...
