Hello, me again.

I am looking at the brochure for the MY 2016 Gx4h, and it lists both a 360-degree camera and a Reversing camera. Is there a difference, or are they so proud of it, they just wanted to make sure you were aware of it?

How does it work in practice?

Thank you :?

The reversing camera is just a plain wide angle camera filming out the back when reversing, very handy.

The 360 camera gives a birds eye view of the car when reversing, imagine a camera 5 meters above the car filming down. This is done by having 4 wide angle cameras (front, back and in the door mirrors) combined in to one image with a simulated car in the middle.
I have tried the Outlander PHEV 360 camera and I like it a lot. As far as I understood it can be used at anytime(not just reversing) to help guide the car in to a tight parking spot or something.
