I'm just finishing my send week of ownership and have been trying different settings on work journeys.

I'm beginning to think that Eco isn't that Eco and if anything uses more fuel and depletes battery quicker.

I recall the dealer suggesting the same thing what's other drivers view? I know it's supposed to reduce throttle and aircon use.

If you try to drive the car to behave like it would if it were in normal mode I do indeed get the impression that the ECO button is counterproductive. Better to keep it in normal mode in that case.

In my experience - very little. It eases off the “throttle” a bit - as long as you don’t respond by pushing the accelerator down to compensate and it tames down the AC and heating as long as you don’t turn them up afterwards.
